Box Sizes and Tuning

Each sub series is designed to work in the SQ box system. Each size sub in the series is designed for the same airspace and same response. Each series shares the same motor, spiders, suspension throw and power handling. The 10 inch woofer will play just like the 15 inch, but in a much smaller enclosure. Specifications listed below are for ported enclosures, if you wish to run sealed (recommended for HDS2 and HDS3’s only) we suggest using half of the net volume.

  1. What size deals box for 215 inch Memphis Mojo’s1750 rms

  2. I have a 2006 impala tryin to build box for 2 hdc3 15 and cant find the right specs

    1. If you have 2 15″ woofers you need at least 9 ft ^3 NET plus port volume. I don’t think that an ’06 impala has that much room in the trunk but you can always go out and measure it to find out!

All you need is a tape measure and a calculator.

  3. I have the atrend 40 hz 2 10 box for 2 hds310s and I want my subs to play more daily music instead of rebassed or decaf music 2onderin what I can do to make the 2 hds310s hot a very wide variety of hz of possible.. new to high end audio scene thanks in advanced

    1. Try a sealed box, or make plugs for the ports to make your box be able to operate both as a ported enclosure when you want boomy bass, and plug the port when you want tighter bass. I do it on both my boxes.
