HDS2.1 and HDS3.1 Release

With time comes change and with change comes innovation! We are happy to announce some big upgrades to our HDS200 and HDS300 line-ups.

The New HDS200’s will be aptly renamed HDS200.1. They will now feature a green double stitched surround, a larger spider at 199mm compared to the old 181mm.The HDS2.1 now showcases a conical motor with a bumped t-yoke, this is to avoid any bottoming out of the voice coil due to the larger spider. It also boast two ferrite magnets coming in at 156mmX25mm x2 or 6.14″X2″ in American units. Don’t worry we didn’t forget the mounting depth, we know this is a key component for most when deciding what they can run. The new HDS2.1’s feature a starting mounting depth of only 6″ for the HDS2.110 (a .5″ savings) and up to 7.5″ for the HDS2.115 (No change).

HDS2.1 Features Include:

Green double stitched EROM surround.

Stamped powder coated frame.

Vented back-plate for optimal cooling and less turbulence in the coil gap.

2.5″ diameter four-layer copper coil.

Conical back plate to allow more voice coil travel.

Heavy Duty push connectors for ease of install. (Accepts up to 10awg speaker wire).

Black electroplated top and bottom plates.

Non-pressed, fiber added cone for maximum rigidity.

Power Handling 600W RMS, 1200W Peak.

Available in Dual 2 and Dual 4 ohm configuration.

The New HDS300’s will be aptly renamed HDS300.1. They too will feature a green double stitched surround replacing the previous white one. The motor is constructed of two ferrite slugs at 190mmX25mm or 7.5″x2″ and features a bumped t-yoke to allow for more travel. The new HDS3.1’s feature a starting mounting depth of only 7.4″ for the HDS3.110 8.7″ for the HDS3.115. The new motor hosts a new powder-coated stamped frame to help tidy up the line and comes with a 199mm three piece spider system that is a bit softer to allow for lower tuning and better performance.

HDS3.1 Features Include:

Green double stitched EROM surround.

Stamped powder coated frame.

Vented back-plate for optimal cooling and less turbulence in the coil gap.

3.0″ diameter four-layer copper coil.

Conical back plate to allow more voice coil travel.

Heavy Duty push connectors for ease of install. (Accepts up to 10awg speaker wire).

Black electroplated top and bottom plates.

Non-pressed cone for maximum rigidity.

Power Handling 1200W RMS, 2400W Peak.

Available in Dual 2 and Dual 4 ohm configuration.
