The Heavy Duty Street 3.2 Series 1200W Subwoofer improves on its predecessor in terms of build, sound quality, heat dispersion, and frequency response. The 10, 12, or 15-inch models are available with dual 2 or 4-ohm voice coil.

The HDS3.2 series is a perfect option for elevating your daily-driver car audio system build to the next level. First, choose a sealed, ported, or band-pass enclosure. Once you decide on an enclosure option, pair your sub(s) with the appropriate S Series monoblock amp. From there, enjoy easy wiring in series or parallel thanks to the 10 AWG push terminals. Soon you’ll be on your way to a dramatically enhanced listening experience.

As with any SoundQubed subwoofer, proper break-in is key to enjoying long life from your HDS3.2. Make sure you follow the steps to loosen up the suspension before pushing these subs to the limit.

The HDS3.2 1200W Subwoofer

The dual-magnet motor features a bumped T-yoke for greater travel and better heat resistance. Additionally, the vented, electroplated back plate gives heat a way out and decreases turbulence in the coil gap. The HDS3.2 series uses a 3-inch diameter, four-layer, copper dual voice coil with a conical back plate for long-distance travel.

The HDS3.2 series feature cast aluminum frames. This upgrade provides better heat sinking and increased excursion over stamped-steel baskets. A softer three-piece spider system achieves enhanced performance and lower tuning. As a result, the HDS3.2 has an F(s) of 28.26 Hz compared to 35 Hz for the HDS3.1.

An Extended Range of Motion (EROM) surround profile keeps your cone diameter as large as possible while allowing for long, controlled excursion. The EROM profile gives you more cone area, greater stiffness, and lower mass for more accurate coil signal response. The HDS3.2 has a non-pressed, fiber added cone for maximum rigidity and long life.

We got these subs as a slightly above “entry level” speaker for a customer. He had a small budget to work with but enough to include an upgraded alternator, 0ga wire, and an extra agm battery. Anyways we paired it to the s1.2250, again, as a slightly above “entry level” amplifier and wow! Were we surprised. Hit a few snags with the box (it’s in the trunk of a Buick) but after getting it all tuned and broken in, it was unbelievable! These speakers will not disappoint!

I’m still running 4 of the old HDS3.1’s and they are beasts. Never failed to disappoint. Now I have to upgrade to these. Love the new basket and the lower fs. It would be nice If they had this model in 18’s but I’m probably gonna go with the HDX3 18’s anyway. Not only do SQ subs get loud and hit hard, but they just sound so good. Very musical subs.

All i can say is that I’m happy with my purchase, I brought the soundqubed HDS3.210-D2.
I was bummed out when i found out that they had sold out of the HDS3.212-D2 I was told that I would be happy with the 10″ so i gave it a day and i thought on it long and hard on it, so the next day I decided to go with the
    HDS3.210-D2 and the s1-1250
Perfect combination. My back window is legit flexing. I’m gonna order another sub soon and have another box made for this subs. I can only imagine how 2 of them will sound in my car. But I’m very impressed with a 10″ with so much power

These hds3.212’s made me proud. I have a pair wired down to 1ohm on a S -2250 and they feel like they want more. I just got them broke in properly ….and they are by far the best sq/spl I have in my collection. The basket is better than last season’s for sure. I can’t wait to put these on my shelf and upgrade to the next level I’m definitely a soundqubed fan for life!

I have two of the hds3.2 15’s and I am very happy with my setup. I will be adding 2 more to my van in a few months and most likely causing earthquakes.

Great quality subwoofers, hits lows very good. Highly recommend.

  7. warren916

Been bumping this sub since 2018 running about 1500RMS in a 32hz tuned box. This thing DUMPS. I do get the burnt coil smell when running super lows for long periods, but thats typical when running over rated power and below box tuning. Overall, 4+ years of hard bumping and still holding up very good.
