Build: Final Destination - Donald

Posted by Donald THF on Aug 7th 2026

When I was about 12 years old, my dad gave my older sisters boyfriend his first car. It was an old 4 banger Mustang. The first thing he did was throw some deep dish Hammers on it and put 2 Kicker 12s in the trunk. From the first time I rode in that car with bass, I've been hooked. I got serious about audio around 2009 when I stumbled on a show at Explosive Sounds in Seffner, FL and found out about FloridaSPL.com. Once I joined that forum, a whole new world opened up to me. I went from running Volfenhag 12s and Power Acoustik amps in a prefab box to an Ascendant Audio Chaos 15 in a custom built kerfed port enclosure. Since then I've been acquiring as much knowledge as I can and steadily bettering my equipment and builds. This current build is literally my dream build. I have always wanted a big cone area wall build and deciding to go with SoundQubed equipment was one of the best choices I've made in car audio. The quality of the products and the people that stand behind them are amazing! I'm grateful to have them be apart of my dream build. I do my best to be a positive member of the audio community and help others along the way like I was helped.
