This policy explains what information SoundQubed (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit soundqubed.com, buy from us, or apply for a dealer account, and how we use it. We sell car audio equipment and we only collect what we need to run the store.
Information we collect
- Order and account details: your name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and what you bought.
- Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number goes straight to Stripe and is never stored on our website.
- Dealer and support forms: business name, tax or resale details you choose to send, and the contents of support, parts or warranty requests.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and cookies that keep your cart and login working.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and warranty claims.
- To run dealer and distributor accounts and pricing.
- To keep our accounting records (orders are recorded in our QuickBooks accounting system).
- To send order updates, and marketing emails if you opt in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Stripe (payments)
- ShipStation and shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx and USPS (fulfillment and tracking)
- Mailchimp (order and marketing emails)
- Intuit QuickBooks (accounting)
- WP Engine (website hosting)
We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser, but checkout and your account may not work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed for taxes, accounting, warranty and returns, generally up to seven years. You can ask us to delete your account information sooner where the law allows.
Your choices
You can view and update your details in My Account, unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, or contact us to request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may have additional rights, and we will honor those requests.
Security
The site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to customer data is limited to the people and services that need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Our site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
