ESPN Came Calling
We knew the Windy City Burban would turn heads at Battle of the States in South Carolina. We didn’t expect ESPN to show up and put it on their TikTok.

The Build
The Burban belongs to our friends at DV8 Sound Solutions, and it was one of the demo builds in the SoundQubed area at the show. The back of this thing is a wall of bass: 24 of our HDX4.2 15″ subwoofers, each one rated at 4,000 watts RMS.
Running that many subs takes serious current, so the electrical side is built on Limitless Lithium NoLi 50 batteries. That’s what lets a build like this demo all day without the voltage falling on its face.
Why the HDX4.2
The HDX4.2 is what we reach for when a build needs to be loud and stay loud. A 4″ voice coil, a motor built to take abuse, and the excursion to move real air down low. Twenty-four of them in one vehicle is about as close to a stress test as it gets, and they handled it all weekend.
