Description
The HDX4.2 18-inch is our flagship subwoofer, rated at 4,000 watts RMS and built for competitors and bass fans who refuse to settle. The 18 is about as big as car audio gets, built for walls, big ported boxes and serious SPL. Plan on a strong amp and a solid electrical system to get everything out of it.
With two 1-ohm voice coils it wires to 0.5 or 2 ohms, so it pairs best with a monoblock that is stable at low impedance. Not sure how to wire it? Our ohm load calculator walks you through it.
